One former Rapid a victim of the rebuild, Conor Casey, is now with the Philadelphia Union and probably figures to get some playing time in his return to Colorado. The Rapids possess a youthful squad with a dangerous attack that will look to take advantage of a Union defense that started out a little shaky against Sporting Kansas City.

Prediction: Despite losing 3-1 to Sporting Kansas City, the Union displayed showed some promise in their attacking game especially in the first half, and I want to believe that promise can turn into something, but the fact this is a road game in a cold environment gives me great pause. My first thought was to pick Colorado Rapids in a 2-1 win, but the Flyers and Sixers failing this season has me clinging to that string of optimism the Union gave me in 40 minutes against Sporting Kansas City. 1-1 Draw.
