The word is that Banner wants to be part of ownership - a managing partner like David Montgomery is with the Phillies. Many have said that Banner would be the perfect guy to put a group together to buy a sports franchise.

Would Joe Banner getting an ownership group together to buy and run the Union be a good thing?
