Read an interesting article (2 parts) earlier about the reserve system and some differing opinions clubs have about how it should work, etc.:
Don’t know if it’s the Union making a push for it or other teams we face, but there are far more games played with a little space between the seniors and the reserves this time around. A large number of the guys who played last season managed minutes in both games, so maybe we’re looking to give them a little rest in between?
The first two matches aren’t attached to a senior game and take place during a bye week, but it looks like they did their best to avoid a scheduling conflict with the CONCACAF qualifying tournament.
The 5/26 TFC match looks like a doubleheader at BMO Field – first team at 4:30pm and reserves at 6:30. The 7/21 NY away game could end up being part of a double-header too, with a 2:30pm start for first teams and 5pm for reserves (even though it’s listed for Montclair St. Univ. right now).

Away games
Do we know if fans will have access to the reserve games at away stadiums? I’m probably making the trip to Montreal and wouldn’t mind checking out the game sunday morning.
I'll look into it.

Reserve League Rules
A few Reserve League rules…
All reserve league games are assumed to be ‘closed door’ sessions and teams have to provide special notification to the league if they choose to do otherwise.
There is a maximum of 5 academy players allowed for any given reserve league game.
There is a maximum of 5 non-roster players allowed for any given reserve league game, but only 3 can be trialists.
No trialist may play more than 2 reserve league matches per season.
No player can exceed 120 minutes between a reserve league and first team match in a 60-hour period.
No player can exceed 90 minutes between a reserve league and first team match in a 36-hour period.
My favorite rules:
D.Given the potential for choking and misuse, Players shall not be allowed to enter the field with ice cubes.
E.“Supersoakers,” or any other similar water squirting items, are not permitted.

Silly question...
But, where is Chester Park?
