A game postponed because of Hurricane Irene will be played in the remnants of Tropical Storm Lee. Fitting. Kickoff at PPL Park is scheduled for 8:08:00 PM ET.

One issue with our defense is that they must be largely exhausted. You just can’t send the same guys out there every single game playing for 90 minutes and expect them to not fade down the stretch. Depth is important.

Thoughts from somewhat of an "outsider".
Obviously I don’t follow the Union as closely as a number of you guys here, so I don’t know how accurate what I’m about to say is, but here’s some thoughts I’ve had recently:
The Union started out the year well overall, and seemed to have a good squad. Then some roster moves happened (not sure of the specifics) and they started to not do as well overall. What was the reason to change something that was working? ("If it’s not broke, don’t fix it’ idea).

It looks like we're missing Mondragon's experience
I’m sure he’d have them more organized at the back than MacMath.
Certainly that experience and leadership is invaluable in the back. But it’s good to start getting MacMath some of that experience himself. We aren’t winning MLS Cup this year, the more experience our young guys get the better chance they put us in to win it in the next couple years.

Yeah, but they had a really tough ten minutes or so where Toronto got back from 3-0 to 3-2. Union played better overall in their 3-0 win in Foxborough, I’d argue.

well, at least it’s a point. and the offense came alive.
Can anyone comment on the weak links in the game? Was there someone in particular on defense who was the problem? Or can I just blame Migs and a tired backline as I’m mentally doing.
definitely blame Migs
but the leadership and direction of Mondragon was absolutely missing and was shown in a big way. We just didin’t close on them when they were around our box and let them take their rips. bad defense all around. Luckily, perhaps, Mondragon took them aside in the locker room because they came together better. offensively, we finished just enough to grab the draw. if we can put the two together…..but if is a word not an action.
