Union Battle to 1-1 Draw With Chicago Fire

A goal from the Chicago Fire's Pavel Pardo in his debut game with the team canceled out Veljko Paunovic's first-half tally as the Union played out a 1-1 draw with the Chicago Fire on Wednesday night. It was the Union's fourth straight road game in which they recorded at least a point. Both teams appeared slightly disjointed on offense, and were unable to create many chances. Philadelphia were probably the happier of the two sides with the draw, however, as Chicago began to find their rhythm in the second half after their goal, but instead they remain mired in last place in the East.
