just realized it was fsc!!!

god damn!!! I hate when they put the game on a channel not everyone gets. So lame

at least they get

broadcasted at all. I get irritated when they are on TCN because I don’t have that as well, but with us having every game broadcasted that can only mean better deals on better channels inn the future.

My gf used to get FSC so it wasn’t a big deal. How dare her parents switch cable providers without consulting me?

I am fired up

ready to go! If the Union show the form displayed against Everton or the form displayed against Real Madrid, after the 15 minute mark, we should have a great “official” second half and be ready to roll to the MLS Cup! I am guessing we will stick with the basic formation. Hope the guys are ready to roll. Join or Die! DOOP Union!

As always, I am disappointed Nakazawa got the start over Torres (especially after how impressive he was in the friendlies), but whatever. Otherwise a very strong line-up and I expect us to win. Loving Mwanga getting the start.

Torres still seems like a supersub at this point. His performance against Everton showed that he’s getting there, but I’m not sure he’s fully there yet.

I think in a 4-4-2 he’s really too weak defensively to play in the central 2, so maybe that’s why Nowak doesn’t like to start him and prefers Nakazawa (who is definitely more well-rounded), but if we went to a 3 man midfield in a 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1 or whatever, I think his creativity could really shine.

The eternal optimist in me is hoping he’s about to get traded and we’re going to sign a quality LB (not that Farfan is bad there, but he’s better further up the pitch).

Pretty darn strong thunder and lightning where I am. Weather Channel hourly forecast for Chester not looking great. 7PM hour should be clear, but there’s a 75% chance of thunderstorming in the 8PM hour and 50% in the 9PM hour.

Yeah, literally just started pouring rain and thunderstorming 5 minutes ago where I am (Abington area, north of the city). Bleh, hope it stays ok in Chester.

Raining so hard that it looks like it’s day outside. Ridiculous.

LeToux and Nakazawa are definitely the weakest links this game. Everyone else is playing well.

Farfan somehow doesn’t score on that!

by ColeStevens on Jul 29, 2011 8:42 PM EDT reply actions

Union lose 2-1

Williams gets a very puzzling red card for dissent and Roger Torres scores a consolation goal in the 93rd minute.

Anyone know any details behind the fight that broke out in the right hand corner of the River End last night? I was at the game and was able to see the commotion but had no clue what was going on.

A ton of people were talking about it on Twitter last night during the match, but apparently it was not a minor event.
