What a BIZARRE match! This game had EVERYTHING… everything, but a goal for the Philadelphia Union. We had Union Supporters giving love to Revolution Supporters with a minute of silence at the 12th minute. We had “SUPPORT THE FORT” goal kick chants. We had a sing-a-long to “99 Bottles of Beer on the Wall” for Peter “DUI” Vermes. We even had WOLVERINE at PPL Park. Why couldn’t we get just one DOOP!

On Wednesday, the United States Men's National Team looked to avenge their Group Stage defeat to Panama at Reliant Stadium in Houston, TX. Two second-half substitutes contributed to Clint Dempsey's clincher, as the Americans secured their place in the CONCACAF Gold Cup Finals with a 1-0 victory over the Canal Men.

CHESTER — The man known as Delaware County’s Mr. Soccer earned another distinction Wednesday. The Union bestowed their Hometown Hero honor upon the late Robert Urban, who died in May 2006, but not before leaving his fingerprint on all facets of soccer in southeastern Pennsylvania.
