I've heard a number of comments/complaints that Novak is wasting salary cap space by buying down Adu's contract. But maybe there is another reason. Maybe since Novak and Adu know each other so well Novak was more worried about Adu's ego getting in the way. Maybe in Novak's opinoin calling Adu a DP would have gone to his head. In this scenario Novak is preventing one of his (possibly) best players from becoming T.O. What are your thoughts on this?
