Philadelphia Union Release Their 2012/2013 Home And Away Jerseys
The Philadelphia Union released their new home and away jerseys yesterday, giving fans the opportunity to purchase new pieces of team merchandise ahead of this year's holiday shopping season. In doing so, the Union bypassed the "92012" Facebook likes trigger for releasing visuals of the jersey (the team's account is currently at 87,555 likes).
While the new designs show signs of reference to the Union's first jersey versions, this cycle's kits are much more progressive, and more complex, than the first editions. Instead of simple, thick navy and gold lines, with the BIMBO logo centrally placed, the jerseys feature multiple colors and wide color areas instead of just lines.
The home jersey utilizes main colors of navy blue and gold, once again, but has light blue accenting lines and a golden collar. The away applies the same design with different colors, as signal blue and white are the two main colors and gold is the accenting strip, with white as the collar color.
Attempting to hype up the jersey releases, the Union created a video featuring the jerseys, which uses a musical track familiar to many fans. "Mind Heist," by Zack Hemsey, plays as words fly on the screen and Danny Mwanga and Sebastien Le Toux model their future kits. (h/t to @Ryan Kelly for finding the information)

I like the white one as well, back of the shirt is completey s.o.b blue….. I’m 35 but i still believe in Santa ;-)
Can't Say I'm Surprised...
After attaching the Bimbo logo and color scheme to the jersey’s last year, it makes perfect sense that the Union would come out with a jersey with some white in it. No it looks like the Bimbo logo actually belongs, as opposed to last year’s version that looks like someone just slapped a Bimbo bumper sticker onto a jersey and said “k, done!” lol
