Offseason Report: Tell Us What You Think Can Improve The Brotherly Game
Hello loyal readers,
My name is Scott Kessler and I am the Managing Editor of the Brotherly Game. Today I come to you asking for your opinions on how to improve this site. I have run the Brotherly Game as the Managing Editor since early January of this, bringing me close to a year's worth of leadership and writing on the Philadelphia Union in this capacity. Since taking over, I've seen the Brotherly Game jump from a couple thousand page views a month to over 70,000 during the summer, and an average of 45,000 otherwise.
Please help me, and everyone else at the Brotherly Game, continue to improve the site by voicing your concerns, suggestions and criticisms of the site. By hearing your thoughts about the Brotherly Game, we can grow stronger in many different ways, only enhancing our ability to continue to give you content that you find engaging, interesting and important.
Thank you,
Scott Kessler

Then I cried.

A few thoughts
One thing I can think of that I’d like to see a little more of is the deep-detail posts by mk_27 that dig into the stats of a game or series of games. Overall, soccer is pretty new to me, so I find those sorts of posts fascinating and a great tool for learning more about the game.
Speaking of being new, one thing that I love about the folks here is that every time I ask a question about something I don’t understand, I always receive help — without being ridiculed for being a newb. That’s awesome, and it really helps for me (and I imagine others) to feel they’re a welcomed part of the community, even though we’re just learning this game.
Generally, my advice is to keep up what’s been going on. The site has quality posts and quality comments. That’s good enough to grow the place as time goes on.
