Sebastian LeToux scored a fantastic goal on brilliant service from Roger Torres. The Union fielded a radically different starting line-up and started slow conceding a goal early before bringing it even at 40 minutes.
Overall, Philadelphia gave an average performance with many of its regular starters out or inactive. The most noticeable roster vacancy was Captain Danny Califf who was inactive and uninjured. Alejandro Moreno wore the captain's armband in his place.
Seattle defeated Toronto FC 3-2 this afternoon mathematically eliminating Philadelphia from the playoffs.
